When did you start with TLP? – October 2020

What are you passionate about when it comes to creating change in your community? – Ever since I was a little girl, I have always been driven to help others. I feel a sense of pride when I can witness how my support has affected others as they work towards achieving their goals.

What is your greatest achievement? - My greatest achievement is becoming a mom to two spunky and hilarious little girls. They drive me to make the world a better place and have taught me not to take myself so seriously all the time!

Advice to a current or prospective learner – Don’t give up. Even if the world around you seems dark and tough, keep trying. Literacy is a fundamental skill that will open so many doors, you just need the right door to open!
