Our workshop introduces Project Management by examining what projects are, what a project manager does and looks at the entire lifecycle in the PM process.
In the past few decades, organizations have discovered that the principles that have been used to create enormous successes in large projects can be applied successfully to projects of any size. As a result, many employees are expected to understand project management techniques and how to apply them. Our workshop introduces Project Management by examining what projects are, what a project manager does and looks at the entire lifecycle in the PM process. In addition, project management skills are transferrable to other parts of your life, such as: planning a vacation, developing a renovation schedule, panning a garden etc.
The Project Management workshop will give participants an overview of the entire project management process - the 5 Process Groups of the Project Life Cycle, as well as key project management tools that they can use every day. Working with project planning documents, such as needs assessments, risk management plan, and a communication plan will provide benefits throughout your organization. Additionally, this workshop goes further in the second week by exploring the 10 Knowledge Areas in Project Management, the correlation between Process Groups and Knowledge Areas and the 49 Processes involved in managing a project.
