This workshop focuses on the most important attitudes, skills, and knowledge needed for communicating clearly and confidently in the workplace. These include learning about informal and formal introductions, asking for and giving directions, giving instructions and making requests, demonstrating clear confident verbal and non-verbal communication, and practicing written communication skills.
Topics will include how to introduce yourself in a formal and informal setting, the importance of body language and how networking can expand your job seeking opportunities. We will also explore how to give requests and provide directions in an appropriate manner to accomplish tasks in the workplace. We finish of the workshop with how to communicate clearly and confidently through a variety of forms such as: formal and informal letters and emails.
